Is your business card working for you, or against you?
Your business card is often one of the first pieces of printed material your clients will see and for this reason it can be one of the most effective advertising investments a person can make.
Your business card needs to make a good first impression. A second rate card will give a second rate impression and can damage your business.
How does the process work?
It’s simple. Call or send an email, but before you do think about:
- How many cards do you need? Take a look at the price list, remember that economies of scale kick in the more you order. However, circumstances change and you may have to reprint your cards at some stage so don’t go overboard.
- What information do you want on the card?
Typically, people have the following information on their card.
Full name, position, qualifications, phone, mobile, email, web address, fax, and address.
Also, ABN and licence number if required.
Often businesses will also put their ‘tag line’ or list of services they provide on the reverse side of the card.
Email addresses such as yahoo or hotmail do not give a professional impression. Cuttlefish Design can also help with an email address and website if required.
- Call or email and place your order
- A colour proof will be sent to your email address
- Make any alterations as necessary
- Once approved the card is sent to print (typically, turnaround time is approx. 1 week).

Cuttlefish Design now offers 100% recycled stock for most printed material. Please inquire for details.
